Introduction to Videoconferencing    This online presentation from Nassau BOCES gives novice users a basic introduction to the world of videoconferencing. The site includes ideas for videoconferencing programs and an overview of the benefits of using videoconferencing in classroom instruction.

Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration - CILC   An Indiana-based organization promoting education, healthcare, community, and business videoconferencing connections. This site has an excellent content provider search engine, where users can search by program, date, or cost of program. The site rates content providers as well through feedback from users.

Videoconferencing For Learning   AT&T's Videoconferencing for Learning web site supports effective use of videoconferencing technology by providing basic information about videoconferencing technology and instructional applications. Web site resources include a searchable directory of ISDN sites (schools, libraries, community colleges, and community organizations), links to other videoconferencing directories, and a mailing list and archive.

TWICE (Two Way Interactive Connections in Education)   This web site from Michigan contains a number of different useful virtual field trip resources, including a searchable database of content providers. Visitors to this site can also review evaluations submitted by teachers of specific content providers and virtual field trip programs.

Southeastern Wisconsin Instructional Network Group   This web site has video samples of virtual field trips from a number of different content providers. There is also a listing of links to web sites of other videoconferencing and content provider consortiums.

Maintained by Wisconsin’s Cooperative Educational Service Area 10 (CESA 10), this site is a compilation of information regarding available videoconferencing events for K-12 students.
